Dr. Fumero is board certified in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. He focuses on clinical treatments and therapies for obesity, diabetes, and hormone-deficient states. He also serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He advocates for multidisciplinary and holistic treatment methods, particularly for obesity and low-testosterone (Low-T) conditions.
Sean Amirzadeh, DO, born and raised in Orlando, Florida, earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Central Florida and completed medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Bradenton campus. He received his Internal Medicine training at the University of South Florida, where he served as Chief Resident.
Alberto Garcia Mendez joined Bay Area Endocrinology Associates in 2018 and has since been a valuable asset to the practice. Originally from Cuba, he earned his medical degree in 1999 from ISCM in Villa Clara. He pursued subspecialty training in Family Practice (2000-2004) and Geriatrics (2006-2010), which provided him with extensive clinical training and experience.
